What a great lunch with classmates from St Philomena School in Lansdowne Class of 1963!!! The service was great…thanks Olivia! The food was exceptional, but the people made it the BEST!!!! BTW The potato soup is even better than it looks!!
Food is great!! They need to put their BBQ ranch cheese fries back on the menu! The service isn't so great, the waitress forgot multiple items we ordered and messed up our drink orders. When we told her, she replied with "oh im sorry" and walked away.
Sitting by the fireplace on a cool evening with a nice way to have dinner. However the place was extremely quiet because it was Monday of Labor Day and everybody was traveling so not too much business. The lemonade wasn't quite right so they switched the root beer and that was okay. I had chicken parm and it was actually okay pretty good. They weren't outrageously priced. The service was reasonable considering how quiet it was and it was the end of the evening. I would probably go again but a little earlier and with more atmosphere. They were pleasantly quick first service but it's just when it's quiet it just isn't quite the same. Plenty of free parking. Then again they were open when others weren't. Overall a nice experience but I probably go again when I'm busy or night because it is a bar and it lives it up.
Barnaby’s is a great spot that always delivers on both quality and atmosphere. The restaurant has a cozy yet lively vibe, making it perfect whether you’re going out with friends, family, or just looking for a casual dinner. The menu has a wide variety of choices — from hearty burgers and sandwiches to fresh salads and pastas — so there’s something for everyone. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions at a fair price. Service is friendly and attentive, even during busy hours, and the staff really works hard to make sure guests feel welcome. The drinks menu is also a highlight, with good options for both craft beers and cocktails. Overall, Barnaby’s is a reliable go-to restaurant for a satisfying meal and a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend!
After standing in the entrance foyer for about 10 minutes, we were finally told that the kitchen closed early for whatever reason. Having eaten here before and enjoying the experience, we decided to return. I highly doubt that we will return for a third time. Edit: We returned for a third time. The waiter Nick was on point and polite. The games were on full display. The food we ordered was prepared with love! I have no complaints whatsoever about this meal. It wasn't big but it was great.
Very reasonably price and delicious food. Didn't even order appetizers and we were full with the entrees. Good place for families and friendly staff. Ample parking. Need to explore this menu, so we will definitely return.
Came on a slow Monday night, seated right away. Ordered a few apps and a side Cesar. Food took longer than normal to come out probably 20 mins or so. Ordered the Chesapeake Chicken as a wrap. Wasn’t too bad, but definitely a lot of food. Fries were crispy but had a tough too much old bay for my liking. Fried pickles were good and spinach dip was fine. I would try again if I lived in the area. Server was nice.
Food, drinks, and servers, are always great. The first impression is consistently cringey with three-four hosts who constantly look bothered having to get up, have to check that tables are available (you don’t have a seating chart?) and are surrounded by personal drinks and food. Loved being seated by the door and hearing the lethargic one say “have a good night” to parties being seated but nothing to people leaving. Don’t enjoy your meal in the mean time, grey sweeter already wants you to leave.
